The short version, in plain English.

1. What you are renting

Reusable moving crates with attached lids and the rolling dollies listed for your package. Crates are delivered clean and ready to pack. Moving labor, transport of packed crates, packing materials and storage are not included.

2. Rental period and extensions

Residential packages include 10 days from the delivery date. You can add time in five-day blocks at the extension price shown for your package (Studio $30, Apartment $40, Small Move $55, Family Move $65, Large Move $80, Whole House $95). If crates are not ready for collection on the agreed date, we allow 2 days of grace; after that, each further five-day block is charged at your package’s extension rate to the card on file.

3. Requests, confirmation and payment

Submitting a request does not reserve crates. When you enter a card, it is authorized for the package price and held for up to 7 days; it is charged only when we confirm your dates and both addresses. If we cannot serve the dates, the authorization is released and nothing is charged. Prices are before any applicable sales tax and before delivery or travel charges outside our standard zone, which we quote before you commit.

4. Delivery and collection

We deliver empty crates to the address you give us and collect them from the address you give us, within the Greater Charleston service area. You are responsible for access: stairs, elevators, gates, parking and building rules. If we cannot deliver or collect because access was not arranged, a second trip may be charged at our standard delivery rate.

5. Looking after the crates

Crates are for household and office contents. Please do not use them for liquids, hazardous materials, food waste, or as seating or steps. Keep them dry and indoors where possible. Remove all contents and labels before collection.

6. Missing or damaged equipment

A crate that is not returned, or is returned cracked, warped or unusable, is charged at $25. A rolling dolly is charged at $85. Normal wear from ordinary use is never charged.

7. Cancellation and changes

Cancel or change dates free of charge up to 48 hours before your delivery date. Inside that window a $40 late-cancellation fee applies. Contact us as early as you can and we will do our best to move your dates.

8. Your details

We use your name, addresses and contact details only to plan and deliver your rental and to reach you about it. We do not sell or share them. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by Totally Boxless.
